Character who'd be the best boyfriend

1) Harry Potter

2) Ron Weasley
(teenage boys will be glad to know that having the emotional range of a small piece of cutlery is no impediment to getting intimate)

3) Russell (Girls in Love series)
(Looks scary - and I can't remember being fed this sort of title when I was a teen, though I see that Judy Blume books come in a fetching shade of pink these days)

4) Alex Rider
(Some on my flist will be very happy to see this. Will his placing on this list translate to more fanfic, I wonder?)

5) Michael Moscovitz (The Princess Diaries series)

6) Legolas (The Lord of the Rings trilogy)
(Can't disagree with this, though strongly suspect it's movie-inspired)

7) Draco Malfoy
:)))) (Obviously they haven't been listening to JKR)

8) Ty (Heartland Series)
(Well, he may make it 8th in this list, but nary a mention in the summaries of the first two books. Unless perhaps he's a horse?)

9) Klaus Baudelaire (A Series of Unfortunate Events)
(For those seeking a non-magical danger magnet, perhaps?)

10)Biscuits (Buried Alive!)
(Well, I suppose you can always eat them while you're down there?)

This book was published in 2006 - so pre-Twilight getting crazy over here at least. I'd be curious to see where Edward Cullen and Jacob Black would come if the exercise were to be repeated now.

The Ultimate Teen Book Guide makes a fair claim to that title, I would say. There's a real variety, and the list includes a fair number of books written for adults.
