In case there is anyone on my flist who hasn't already seen this on The Leaky Cauldron, Leaky Lounge is having a favourite villain poll today.
At the moment Severus is winning by a mile with 38% of the vote - no surprise there. But Lucius (11%) leads Draco (9%), though he isn't as reviled as Umbridge (13%).
Professor Quirrel comes last (behind the giant squid) with 2 votes.
No prizes for guessing who got my vote.
In a previous poll, 16% of voters thought that Arthur Weasley would enchant some Muggle underwear. Should we be worried?
According to the BBC website, today is the 5th anniversary of the release of GoF. Included in the article is this statement:
Seven books have been written altogether but not all have been published.
*sigh* Considering 1 copy of OotP was sold for every 12 people in the UK in the first 24 hours after release, I'd have thought that most media outlets would be able to find someone to write HP-related articles who actually knew about them. I'm bracing myself for all sorts of stupidity next week - my favourite last time was the Guardian reviewer who said that 'we find out what Voldemort's real name is'. *headdesk*
