I needn't have worried about waking up on time this morning - a cat who hasn't been fed or allowed out for 12 hours is not subtle about letting one know she wants something! It was odd walking into the house and realising she wasn't going to come and talk to me; I felt awful leaving her at the vet just after I'd deserted her for a fortnight. Well, I'll make sure to be in tonight.
(ETA - Miss Puss is now sitting with her back to me staring out of the window and swishing her tail. She's not allowed out yet - and I was warned to give her only light meals for a day because she might not be hungry after the anaesthetic. Not hungry? Fat chance. First thing she did when I opened the basket was wander over to the food bowls.
Still, I guess she has nice clean teeth now.)
