Lucius is not afraid.
The dark walls of the cell glisten with damp, but the Dementors’ desertion turned dread to mere discomfort.
Lucius is not afraid.
The Dark Mark burns black, but there are thick walls now between him and his Lord’s red-eyed wrath.
Lucius is not afraid.
He longs for Narcissa, but she will stand by him. Their Unbreakable Vow gives her no choice.
Lucius is not afraid.
He knows it won’t be easy for his son, but Draco has always had to work for approval. They will deal with the consequences of failure.

Narcissa has never entirely trusted her sister, and Azkaban has not made her any… safer.
