malfoy100 drabbles here last weekend, so here they are:
Scapegoats
Thwack.
“Stupid, meddling son of a Mudblood!”
Lucius wielded his cane amid a storm of pink petals.
“How DARE he!” Thwack. “Standing there sneering at me!” Thwack. “Insolent little-”
“Lucius…” Narcissa put her hand on his arm.
“Don’t ‘Lucius’ me!”
“But the roses! They were all ready for the Governors’ dinner!” She sighed. “What a mess. DOBBY!”
Lucius gritted his teeth. “There is no Dobby,” he spat. “Harry Potter-”
He froze.
Narcissa raised an eyebrow.
“Ah… I was, er, foully-tricked-into-giving-Dobby-a-sock.”
Narcissa’s mouth tightened. Lucius backed away.
“What?” she shrieked. “You lost me my SERVANT?”
Silver Lining
Narcissa flung down the crumpled letter.
“But they can’t! It’s a complete betrayal of trust!”
Lucius peered over his newspaper. “Surely it doesn’t surprise you?”
“How can you just sit there? Why don’t you do something!”
“Narcissa, as you know very well-”
“This is all your fault! If you were still a governor… That school is a disgrace!”
“My fault? As I recall, Draco is there at your insistence.”
“I… you…”
She swept away. The door slammed.
Lucius turned to the next page.
So Draco’s exams were cancelled? Well, at least this year he wouldn’t come second to a Mudblood.

Lucius frowned. “No, Draco, you can’t have a new broom until you’ve proven yourself capable of beating Potter with your… old new broom.”
“I can beat Potter! He was just lucky!”
“Then perhaps you need to work on your own luck.”
“But it’s not fair! Potter cheats. And the teachers let him get away with it!”
“In which case a new broom won’t make much difference, will it?”
“But… but…”
Draco stormed away.
His parents Looked at each other.
Narcissa sighed. “Where on earth does he get the idea that such behaviour is acceptable?”
Lucius shrugged. “I really can’t imagine.”
