FilmFour appears to be doing an 80's season at the moment. Not having seen it for years, I couldn't resist indulging in seeing Romancing the Stone again at tea time. And I hadn't intended to stay on and watch Top Gun, but then it was:
Ah, nostalgia!
- The first 15-rated film I went to 'underage'
- whose soundtrack was the first record I ever bought;
- all about flying while I was in my plane-spotting phase;
- and one of the last films I saw three months before all my mates because I'd been in Canada that summer, back in the days when there was that much of a delay between North American and UK release dates.
Ah, nostalgia!
